Neymar’s Champions League ban for insulting match officials cut to two games
Neymar has had his three-match Champions League ban cut into two matches by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The Paris Saint-Germain forwards has been found guilty of misuse by UEFA back in March and the Ligue 1 winners appealed to CAS, who reduced the ban, after the club appeal to UEFA had been dismissed.
The Brazilian used profane language towards officials following Manchester United were given a contentious penalty for handball against Presnel Kimpembe resulting in some contentious home defeat at the Champions League last 16.
Neymar, who had been injured for the game, wrote on interpersonal media:“That really is really a disgrace, they placed four individuals who know nothing about football responsible for studying the replay for VAR.“
He’ll still miss PSG’s opening Champions League matches in 2 weeks‘ time from Real Madrid on Wednesday and Galatasaray, but can traveling to Club Brugge on October 22.
