They understood that people were planning to remain still for 3 minutes, it is miserable, said Veracruz defender Carlos Salcido.
But Tigres Guido Pizarro stated:They told us they were planning to stop only for a minute and then it was three.
He added:We said we [Tigres] would just remain still for a minute.
Veracruz are bottom of the table without a win in 13 matches and their players applauded their Tigres counterparts in the games conclusion.
Tigres are third, three points away from the lead.
