Mason Greenwood signs Manchester United extension until 2023

Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood has signed a new deal at the club, keeping him at Old Trafford.
The 18-year-old became United starter in the Premier League when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer handed him his debut against Cardiff in May.
Having grown up as a Manchester United fan, playing with the first group is a true dream come true, England U21 global Greenwood said.
I know that, when I play for this clubI represent the whole Academy and I want to repay the faith my coaches have shown in me with my own performances on the pitch.
I am learning all of the time in the supervisor and his coaching staff and I know that this is the best club to help me achieve my potential
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer added:Mason has progressed through our Academy and we are delighted with the progress he has made.
At such a young age, he has great wisdom and pace and he is such a natural finisher.
Ever since he came to the first group, he has impressed everybody with his drive and attitude, he has all the attributes to be a leading player.
Mason is studying every day in training and, together with his work ethic, there is no doubt that he has an excellent future in front of him
