James Maddison withdraws from England squad due to illness

James Maddison has withdrawn from the England squad for the European Qualifiers from Bulgaria and the Czech Republic due to illness.

The Leicester midfielder has returned home to recover and it is understood England boss Gareth Southgate wont call up a replacement.
Maddison was an unused substitute four times at two separate England squads but is yet to receive his first senior cap.
Asked last week the 22-year-old has not featured nonetheless, Southgate said:I can not guarantee people football.
He just has to find that the gamers which were left out to recognise merely to get from the squad is still an achievement, and I dont manage him any otherwise to some of the others, really.
He wishes to talk football thats great. He would like to understand what aspects of his game that we enjoy and that we believe he can improve.
He appears to take all that on board quite well, so he is playing well, but so is [Mason] Mount, therefore is [Jadon] Sancho and so are a lot the others – thats the conundrum.
Considering joining the club maddison has scored two goals and also registered nine assists in his 43 Premier League appearances for Leicester.
Three days 21, england travel to Prague to play with the Czech Republic on Friday.
