Rugby World Cup 2019: New Zealand v Ireland Tips & Preview
In a rematch of the epic Conflict in Dublin in 2018, New Zealand Match Ireland at the second World Cup quarter-final in Tokyo.
Courses Irish saw a victory over the All Blacks and Joe Schmidts side can take some confidence out of their latest record from New Zealand with two wins in their last four encounters.
Having said that Ireland have been disappointing masterclass and have been outplayed from the brilliant Japanese in the group phase. While their pool game was won by New Zealand against South Africa and havent lost a Rugby World Cup game since 2007.
Steve Hansen has an embarrassment of riches and has remembered Brodie Retallick into Anton Lienert-Brown from the midfield and the row, along with Jack Goodhue — the omission of both Ryan Crotty is surprising.
With the exception of this frozen Bundee Aki, Joe Schmidt has attracted Gary Ringrose into midfield, whilst going in full-back and has a fully fit squad.
Among the men that are important this weekend will probably be Ireland defence trainer Andy Farrell, who has masterminded some defensive schemes which have flummoxed the usually unflappable All Blacks within the past few years using the British & Irish Lions and Ireland.
It is Farrell, When there is 1 man in world rugby who will shut down New Zealand.
A man on the field would be Ireland scrum-half Conor Murray, that once more spouses Johnny Sexton from the half-backs. Murray has scored four tries against New Zealand, and has been near to crossing the line against Scotland.
I found him to score in that Scotland game anytime and I am backing his 2019 World Cup duck breaks .
My next wager of the match is New Zealand. After two weeks without a fixture the All Blacks can be caught early by a conflict hardened Irish facet.
With separating the sides at the last four experiences games in the last couple of years involving the two sides have been affairs. However, I expect New Zealand to have sufficient nous and ability to see off a lively effort that is Irish.
