Juventus‘ Emre Can ’shocked‘ at Champions League omission

Juventus midfielder Emre May states he’s“stunned“ in being left out of the club’s Champions League squad, and it has suggested he will find a move away in the Italian winners in January.
Can made 37 appearances for Juventus last season but has discovered his opportunities following Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot’s advent summer time.
Can was a surprise omission in the club’s 22-man squad for the Champions League this season and the German claims he’d have pushed away from the team to get a transfer had he knew he would be left out by Maurizio Sarri.
„I’m not in the squad for the Champions League which actually shocked me yesterday, because I was assured otherwise weekly,“ May told Sky at Germany.
„Hence I would not have remained at Juventus, because it was the primary requirement for me to be a part of this Champions League squad.
„it is a deep shock for me and I cannot understand it. This past year I played well in the Champions League. There has not been any explanation.
„Juventus phoned me the telephone call was one minute and they just told me:“You are not in the group.
„I need to play in the Champions League, I Wish to play in the Champions League. When I’m back, I’ll talk to the club and then we will see what happens.“
