ATP Rogers Cup Final Odds & Pick: Nadal vs Medvedev

It should not come as a surprise that Rafa is your favorite to win that match. However, no one is giving him amazing chances, that should lead to an easy win for him. Both players have improved their odds that were starting amazingly as stated previously.
Without hitting a golf ball Rafael Nadal reserved his trip to the back of the Rogers Cup after Gael Monfils withdrew from the game. Monfils declared to the crowd that he would be not able to choose the court for the semifinal match against the Spaniard due to an ankle injury. The injury occurred in the second set of his match against Bautista Agut. With that outcome, Rafael Nadal will face off from Daniil Medvedev for the first time in both of their careers.
Rafa did needed to battle back into Montreal in his quarterfinal match against No.11 Fabio Fognini to win 2-6, 6-1, 6-2. With Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer leaping out with this year’s tournament, Nadal is the best seed.
This is actually the first time that the 23-year old and the 33-year old will fit up in their professions. Medvedev has played some of his best tennis in the Rogers Cup 2019, however the Rogers Cup championship has always been favorable to Nadal.

In case Nadal had played with his semifinals match and won to move on the finals, there could have been another story here. However, after he fought back in the quarters, the Spaniard seems to be prepared to carry home his fifth trophy.
