Sheffield United co-owner Kevin McCabe ordered to sell his share of club to Prince Abdullah

The co-owner Kevin McCabe of sheffield United should sell his share of their club for Saudi co-owner, Prince Abdullah, a High Court judge has ruled.
McCabe might have to sell his stake to Prince Abdullah for # 5m in the Premier League club.
In a hearing that lasted less than three minutes, Justice Fancourt’s conclusion ended a bitter 18-month legal struggle for control at Bramall Lane.
After hearing six weeks of proof in the High Court of London the judge said his company SUL and McCabe must sell their shares.
The Saudi royal bought 50 percent of this One club six decades back, promising to finance the running of the club for three years.
In a statement, Prince Abdullah said:“I am delighted that this judgement brings an end to the uncertainty on Sheffield United’s future. Our manager Chris Wilder and the team are off to a promising beginning and we can concentrate on this critical Premier League season under ownership that is stable.
„[…] I am fully committed to continued investment in both the First Team along with the Academy as well as delivering best practices and the highest standards of management to the golf club.
„I look forward to hearing by the fans, club staff and other stakeholders seeing ways where we could improve the matchday experience and encourage the community which has so loyally supported us.
„One initiative already underway is the unification of this club and its crucial properties. We wish to have our stadium and wish to finish this integration within the upcoming year.“
Justice Fancourt adjourned the case until October 14, and McCabe would have to decide whether he is to appeal the conclusion of Monday.
