Romelu Lukaku ready to prove himself with Inter Milan and Belgium, says Roberto Martinez

Romelu Lukaku is in the shape of his life and ready for a few of the greatest chapters in his profession with Inter Milan, according to Belgium boss Roberto Martinez.
Lukaku finally secured his desired move to Inter Milan last month, two decades after the former Chelsea striker joined Manchester United from Everton.
The 26-year-old has scored two in two and Martinez – that previously managed Lukaku in Everton – says the striker appears like a participant reborn.
„This is actually the very first time that I have seen him free and happy. Going back into many decks I have not seen Rom so concentrated, so happy, so pleased with the new challenge,“ Martinez told me before Belgium’s struggle with Scotland.
„I think he’s now prepared to confront among the greatest footballing chapters within his profession together with the Inter Milan transfer. And he is driven to be as good as he could for your national group, so I’ve been very impressed with his happiness and the way he’s looking forward to the soccer ahead.
„Romelu is among those modern footballers he was born with all the focus, together with the media following him at the age of 16 at Belgium – he had media crews following him around seeing what he was doing.
„He had been in a group with hopes to win Anderlecht with Champions League participation [together with that].
„Then he had a huge transfer to Chelsea. Since you know he needed his time in West Brom, then a transfer fee to Everton, another large transfer fee to Manchester United and to Inter.
„Romelu does not get affected, he is one of the most driven boys you are going to see. His life is soccer, he just lives to evaluate goals and to succeed for the national team and at club level.“
While he has appeared like his normal self in front of goal, Lukaku experience has been somewhat daunted by racial abuse directed at him through Inter win at Cagliari prior to the break.
Lukaku has been also well rested for the 4-0 triumph over San Marino of Belgium but is expected to return on Monday against Scotland and Martinez says the striker is quite much looking just like his usual self.
„I have not seen a difference [as a result of the recent incident at Cagliari],“ the Belgium boss said.
„It’s true he was sad with the episode he had to go through but I am certain that is something which everybody in soccer will try to assist him with and try to eliminate. There is not any tolerance for that sort of behavior“
Scotland are trying to bounce back in a 2-1 home defeat to Russia when they choose on Monday although the loss of Friday Martinez believes Steve Clarke’s guys are a group on the up.
„You’ve got six players at starting week in, week out from the Premier League, all of these are at the top ten,“ he said.
„This has the makings of a youthful generation with enormous potential.
„The job is to find that competitive edge. Steve Clarke must get opportunity, patience and time to work at global level how he functions at club level.
„The talent in the Scotland team is there to qualify for a significant championship, no doubt about that.
„Scotland are probably one or two good results from being a team that will qualify.“
