Stuart Broad says he has a lot of Test cricket left in him for England after starring in Ashes

A“reinvented“ Stuart Broad says he’s a lot of Test cricket left in him after composing for England in the drawn Ashes series.
The 33-year-old as he directed the attack rallied 23 wickets against Australia for example David Warner seven times.
Broad failed to play in Sri Lanka prior to Christmas and was also left out of this opening Test against West Indies in January however says these breaks enabled him to disturb his match.
„I have been really happy with how it has gone this summer,“ said Broad, that now has 467 wickets at 132 Tests.
„I have gone from being talked about as a decreasing cricketer being slipped out to a reinvented cricketer with more to offer you.
„At 33 years old, that’s a good place to be. All of the hard work was worth it. Fate allowed me to have time throughout the winter months to work on things.
„In Sri Lanka I didn’t play too much and that I was able to operate on a new run-up and things like my attacking intention which has paid wages.
„I’ve been attacking in my areas, and making batsmen play as much as I have for several years.
„We talk about setting the tone using the new ball and that I felt that this has been my best summer for quite a while in terms of doing this using the new ball.
„I felt a responsibility to lead that first 10 overs and I’ve had good energy running in. I felt like the mindset of trying to hit on the stumps really paid off.“
Broad contributed hugely to Warner scoring only 95 runs in the Ashes in 10 innings – that the worst record of any batsman to open as many times in a Test series that was single.
However, the seamer was left ruing that England couldn’t remove Steve Smith cheaply, together with the 30-year-old just and racking up 774 conducts being dismissed below 50 – by Broad at The Oval.
„I had an additional responsibility to try and obtain their big players outside and that’s why I did a lot of preparation on Warner,“ additional Broad.
„I had to really go fuller at him, I needed to try and hit on his stumps and I had to try and forget about his external edge.
„I never dreamed I would have the success against him which I’ve had. But, naturally, that is within this collection.
„When we place our numbers together throughout the course of our professions, with how much we have performed against each other, then I think they would be quite even.
„They had one batsman [Smith] that was a 15 from 10 and we’ve not had this, which has been a massive difference.
„We’d have really liked to win the series but should we sit down in a week’s time without the emotion, then it is most likely the right result.“
